How does it work?
Travelers:
1. Complete the form and have an agent assigned to you OR select a date and time you would like to book an appointment convenient for you to speak directly with an agent.
2. We will assign you 3 agents if you submit a form. We believe this approach increases your chances of finding an agent who matches your needs and personality.
3. If you book an appointment and cancel less than 24 hours in advance or are a no show, there is a $25 charge.
4. The agents are allowed to provide you 1-3 quotes each. If you request more than 3 quotes from any one agent, that agent is then allowed to charge a fee to continue to offer more quotes. They will be required to tell you their fee prior to proceeding any further and you can choose to accept or reject.
5. Any bookings and payments for travel services are handled directly with the travel agent you select, not through this website.
6. This website is to be used only by travelers in the United States at this time. All agents you will be matched with are in the United States and work with US Dollar currency.
Travel Agents:
1. Select a subscription service tier.
2. Complete the form and enter your payment information.
3. Depending upon your subscription tier, you will be eligible for certain resources. Incoming leads will be assigned to you throughout the month based on your experience and specialty. These leads will be sent to the email address you provide so please make sure it is correct.
4. You must offer at least 1 free quote to a traveler assigned to you, but you are not required to provide more than 3.
5. If the customer requests a 4th, you are allowed to propose a fee to the customer to pay for any further quotes. This negotiation is between you and the customer. It is recommended you be clear in writing with your customer what you plan to provide them and when expenses will be incurred by them so there is no misunderstanding.
6. You are responsible for getting a written approval from the customer prior to charging them. If you do not and complaints are made about you, you will be suspended indefinitely from the matchmaker service.
7. Any bookings and payments for travel are to be handled by you and the customer. We are only here to make the match. If a customer reports any type of scam, you will immediately be removed from this service.
8. If you have chosen a subscription tier that includes education, that education will consist of a live seminar or a recorded webinar and you will be provided a date and time to access it.
9. A Tier 3 subscription will be posted in the future for B2B leads. If you choose to participate in that Tier, you will be vetted prior to acceptance.
10. Other subscriptions may be added in the future as the site progresses and we determine the needs of both travelers and agents.
11. This site is currently set up to be used by travelers and agents in the United States at this time.

My name is Brenda Buckley of Journey Junkies Travel Consultants located in Florida. I manage the Facebook page "I Need a Travel Agent" with 22k followers where I saw a need for a safe, secure platform for travelers and travel agents to be matched up. This led me to create Travel Agent Matchmaker, a unique platform designed to connect travelers with trusted travel agents. We created this website to make the travel planning process easier and more personalized by matching travelers with agents who understand their specific needs and preferences.
